Montana Noxious Weed
Awareness Week - June 5-11
Join MISC and our partners in kicking off Montana Noxious Weed Awareness Week, June 5 - 11, 2022.
The second week in June was enacted as Montana Noxious Weed Awareness Week (MNWAW) by the 2021 Montana Legislature; Governor Greg Gianforte signed the legislation to make it official!
MNWAW will be an annual event to raise awareness about noxious weeds, the threat that they pose, and actions we can each take to prevent and slow their spread.
Noxious weeds negatively impact recreational activities and wildlife habitat in Montana. They are often spread unknowingly by people. Preventing new infestations is the best way to manage noxious weeds.
Help Stop the Spread. While out recreating remember to COME CLEAN and LEAVE CLEAN.
