May 7, 2026 (MINNEAPOLIS) — Chief O’Hara announced that a man with multiple stab wounds was found dead downtown this morning.
At approximately 9:45 a.m., First Precinct officers responded to the report of a man down on the 400 block of 10th St S. Officers located a deceased man near an outdoor bench with multiple apparent stab wounds.
Homicide investigators are working to determine the sequence of events that led up to the stabbing.
MPD Forensic Scientists processed the scene and collected evidence.
The MPD incident number is 26-118833.
