City Council to consider Upper Harbor amphitheater
A long-talked-about amphitheater in North Minneapolis will be the topic of a City Council public hearing next week.
The proposed property leases for the Community Performing Arts Center at Upper Harbor will be considered by the City Council’s Business, Housing and Zoning Committee on July 15. The public is invited to attend and share feedback. Learn more about the proposed conveyance.

If approved, the item will advance to the full City Council and the mayor for final approval.

Park construction update
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board’s new regional park at Upper Harbor is currently under construction with an anticipated opening in 2026.
