Development update: Community Performing Arts Center at Upper Harbor 

Minneapolis City Council accepted a $12.5 million grant from the State of Minnesota on June 18. The grant will be used for the proposed Community Performing Arts Center at the Upper Harbor site. City Council will consider matters related to the Community Performing Arts Center this summer.

A proposed amendment related to amplified sound for the Community Performing Arts Center will be presented to the City Council’s Climate and Infrastructure Committee at their meeting on Thursday, June 26. The public is invited to attend and share feedback. View the proposed changes.
