Development update: Community Performing Arts Center at Upper Harbor
Minneapolis City Council accepted a $12.5 million grant from the State of Minnesota on June 18. The grant will be used for the proposed Community Performing Arts Center at the Upper Harbor site. City Council will consider matters related to the Community Performing Arts Center this summer.

Park construction update
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board’s new regional park at Upper Harbor is currently under construction with an anticipated opening in 2026.
