Dear Ward 4 Residents,

The Minneapolis Police Department has confirmed that a home in the 4800 block of Fremont Avenue North was searched this morning in connection to the ongoing manhunt for Vance Luther Boelter, the suspect in this morning’s targeted shootings of Minnesota lawmakers. Authorities say Boelter previously rented a room at this Fremont Avenue residence.

While MPD states there is no known danger to the public in this area, we urge all residents to stay alert and report any suspicious activity.
