Dear neighbor,
I am writing this email today to notify you that the State Legislative Session is scheduled to end on May 19, 2025.
In 2023, the State Legislature expanded access to MinnesotaCare for undocumented immigrants. Unfortunately, there are real conversations about ending this program for undocumented immigrants, which will have a negative life impact on many of our neighbors.
At a time when the federal government is demonizing our immigrant community, the state should be doing everything it can to protect our most vulnerable. Removing people from accessing healthcare is bad policy.
