Now is the time to be carefully reviewing your valuation notice and connecting with your assessor to get your questions answered. Tomorrow, Friday, April 4, is the final day to contact the assessor named on your valuation notice and resolve any issues administratively. If you do not come to an agreement before April 4, your changes must be heard by the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization (LBAE).
This lunch is meant to be a broad overview and is not for individual questions. It's important to understand how our City's Assessing Department does their work and to that end, I've invited Assessor Malmquist to join us for lunch!
