In some of the most challenging times, Luger’s expertise and vision helped guide federal prosecutions in Minneapolis with strength and compassion. His ideas and actions weren't just about enforcing the law; they were about restoring hope and safety to neighborhoods deeply affected by violent crime.

"Through his efforts, dozens of violent criminals were brought to justice, and communities that once lived in fear began to see a brighter, safer future,” said Chief O’Hara. “His work didn’t just impact Minneapolis, it set a new standard for how we approach justice and safety in cities across the state.”

Andrew Luger’s legacy is one of excellence, compassion, and a determination to do what’s right—even when the path was difficult. His work has left an indelible mark on the people of Minneapolis and the men and women of the Minneapolis Police Department."
