Dear neighbor,
I wanted to let you know that my office is providing space, in collaboration with the Public Works Department, to hear your traffic safety concerns. An engineer from Public Works Traffic and Parking Services will be present to discuss the City's Traffic Calming program and the application process.
-
What: Ward 9 Traffic Calming Office Hours
-
When: Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
-
Where: Powderhorn Recreation Center, 3400 15th Ave. S.
If you want traffic calming in your area, you can fill out the online traffic calming application online. The deadline for submitting an application is Sunday, September 15, 2024. The traffic calming process is open to everyone including residents, business owners, and neighborhood or business organizations.
The goal of this event will be to ensure you understand the application process and share your concerns. We will also have physical copies of the application to fill out if you prefer that method.
We encourage you to spread the word of this event so that your Ward 9 neighbors know about this resource.
We hope to see you there, and in the meantime, let us know if you have any questions.
