Dear Ward 6 Neighbors,
I wanted to inform you about the ongoing work that began at Touchstone Plaza in Peavey Park.
On Sunday, July 7, at 8:00 a.m., the area was fenced off, and a professional conservator began the careful removal of the key mosaics. The complete removal of the remaining artwork is scheduled to start on Sunday, July 14, and we anticipate the process, which includes installing a new walking path and seeding the grass, will take most of the week.
To help the new grass grow and establish, the site will remain fenced throughout the summer.
