Power Outages? Here's some Information!

Neighbors,  

I’m currently on a ride along with our Minneapolis Fire Department and we are seeing a lot of downed power lines. I wanted to share with you best practices for getting assistance and information from Xcel Energy if you are impacted.

Xcel Energy uses a report based outage system, you can report online at:

• https://mn.my.xcelenergy.com/s/outage-safety
• https://xcelenergy.com/OUT
• or by texting “OUT” to 989-36

Once reported, you can check for status updates at:

• https://mn.my.xcelenergy.com/s/outage-safety/check-outage-status
• or by texting “STAT” to 989-36
