The City of Minneapolis remains committed to delivering high quality services for residents and business in the face of the coronavirus crisis. For an overview of the City's response to COVID-19 and the latest impacts to City services, visit minneapolismn.gov/coronavirus.
To slow the spread of COVID-19 across the state, Gov. Tim Walz directed Minnesotans to stay at home and limit movements outside of their home beyond essential needs from 11:59 p.m. Friday, March 27 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 10.

Public health information: Slow the spread of COVID-19
The Minnesota Department of Health is leading the statewide response to the coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) pandemic. The City's Health Department is working closely with the Minnesota Department of Health and Hennepin County to respond.
Right now the most important thing for everyone to do is help keep the disease from spreading: stay at home, wash your hands, avoid touching your face and practice social distancing.
Mental and behavioral health providers and community cultural healers may apply for funding for between $2,500-$7,500 through the Division of Race and Equity's COVID-19 Emergency Mental Health Fund to serve residents experiencing increased stress and trauma due to the coronavirus outbreak.
In Minneapolis and around the globe, the coronavirus pandemic presents an extraordinary public health crisis, and an extraordinary challenge for small businesses. City staff continue to work with our partners to gather information about other resources and to develop additional support strategies for small businesses impacted by COVID-19.
