Mayor Jacob Frey and Police Chief Medaria Arradondo discussed enforcement of Gov. Tim Walz' Stay at Home Order at a March 27 press conference.

To slow the spread of COVID-19 across the state, Gov. Tim Walz directed Minnesotans to stay at home and limit movements outside of their home beyond essential needs from 11:59 p.m. Friday, March 27 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 10.

Trips outside the home should be limited but people can still do the following:

  • Go to grocery stores.
  • Go to medical appointments and the pharmacy.
  • Walk the dog, ride your bike and be in nature while practicing social distancing by remaining 6 feet from others.
  • Get essentials for neighbors or loved ones in need of assistance.
