The Center for Urban and Regional Affairs (CURA) staff will lead participants through a series of activities and discussions. This meeting will develop robust guidelines, identify resource needs, program measures, and mechanisms for mutual accountability between Neighborhood and Community Relations (NCR), neighborhood associations and community-based organizations.
Background
CURA was selected by the City of Minneapolis to assist in the development of the Neighborhoods 2020 program. Over the years, CURA has invested its resources and partnered with neighborhood associations out of the belief that community residents are the most powerful force for justice in their communities. Our Neighborhoods 2020 work is another opportunity for us to continue to live out our mission.
