Friendly reminder that the Division of Race and Equity’s End of the Year Event will take place Tuesday, December 17th at UROC (2001 Plymouth Ave N).

Other and Belonging Fellowship

Check out this Summer Fellowship opportunity at the Othering & Belonging Institute, now open for applications!

The Summer Fellowship Program is a three month-long, part-time paid research experience designed to prepare the next generation of researchers and future community leaders who are committed to social and racial justice. For more info visit the Summer Fellowship site.

CURA- led Neighborhoods 2020 Gathering

Following-up on the November 21 meeting, this gathering makes the shift toward visioning what this plan needs to accomplish. Participants will identify what work needs to be done and what resources are necessary to implement the Neighborhood 2020 Plan. The Center for Urban and Regional Affairs (CURA) staff will lead participants through a series of activities and discussions. This meeting will develop robust guidelines, identify resource needs, program measures, and mechanisms for mutual accountability between Neighborhood and Community Relations (NCR), neighborhood associations and community-based organizations.

Upper Harbor Terminal - Community Engagement

Deeper community conversations on a topic from the UHT Concept Plan. These 4-hour sessions will occur during the third week of the months of July, August, September, October, November, December & January and aim to gather community preferences on each topic.
