[Correction] Census community meeting on homelessness at Cora McCorvey center this Tuesday

We Count

Complete Count Committee meeting this Tuesday

Correction: A previous edition of this notice had the wrong topic for this meeting. We will be discussing homelessness, not presenting committee members' general outreach strategies.

Join the Minneapolis Complete Count Committee this Tuesday, when we will be focusing on individuals in our community who are currently experiencing homelessness.

Meeting details:

  • Cora McCorvey Health & Wellness Center,1015 N 4th Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55405
  • Tuesday, Dec. 17, 6 - 8 p.m.

Community members experiencing homelessness (both sheltered and unsheltered) have been historically undercounted in the census.

Sam Fettig, U.S. Census Bureau Minnesota partnership coordinator, will be on hand to present the U.S. Census Bureau’s strategy to ensure that individuals in our community who are experiencing homelessness as well as individuals living in group quarters are properly counted.

Join us to learn how we can work together to ensure everyone is counted in the 2020 census.

We contribute. We matter. We add value. We count.
