Neighborhoods 2020

Dear neighborhood and community leaders,

The Neighborhoods 2020 consulting provider procurement and selection process is taking some time, and we are moving forward with interviews of prospective consultants. I anticipate the interviews will be completed next week.

Once a consulting provider is selected, Neighborhood and Community Relations (NCR) and City Coordinator staff will meet with them to re-work the timeline included in the original City Council staff directives. Changes to the timeline will be needed to ensure enough time for community engagement and to create the outcomes that City Council requested. When an updated timeline is drafted, we will return to the City Council’s PECE Committee.

We will notify you when the updated timeline has been completed and scheduled for presentation to the PECE Committee. Until then, there are no presentations or discussions scheduled with the City Council regarding Neighborhoods 2020.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your neighborhood specialist.
