Dear neighborhood and community leaders,
On Friday, June 21, the City of Minneapolis published a scope of services for contractors to assist in the next steps of Neighborhoods 2020 development as directed by City Council action on May 17, 2019. You can view the City Council actions on the LIMS database here.
In this directive, staff were instructed to work with a consultant or consulting team to continue conversations with neighborhoods and the community on program guidelines and metrics for the Neighborhoods 2020 framework while continuing to ensure that racial equity remains at the core of the work.
You can view the scope of services on the City of Minneapolis eSupplier portal under "Contracting Opportunities," event ID number 0000000454, and it can also be viewed here as a PDF, on the Neighborhoods 2020 webpage and NCR’s homepage. The deadline for submission is July 1. Instructions on how to bid through eSupplier can be found here.
Once a qualified contractor has been selected, an updated project timeline will be posted on our website and shared publicly. We will continue to send out updates and update the Neighborhoods 2020 webpage as we move through this process.
Thank you for your time and interest in Neighborhoods 2020.
Best,
David Rubedor Director of Neighborhood and Community Relations ADA Title II Coordinator
