Dear neighborhood and community leaders,
This is a brief update on the Neighborhoods 2020.
Since receiving the Minneapolis City Council directives last month, we have been working with the City Coordinator and Procurement to finalize a scope of work and move forward with the hiring of a consultant or consulting team for Neighborhoods 2020.
We anticipate that we will release a scope of work by the end of this week and will be working to identify a consultant or consulting team for continued engagement work with neighborhoods and community members. We estimate that we will select a consultant or consulting team within a couple of weeks.
We will send more information out regarding the release of the scope of work by email. In addition, it will be posted on the City’s Procurement webpage as well as NCR’s homepage. Once qualified contractors have been selected, an updated project timeline will be posted on our website and shared publicly.
We will continue to send out updates and update the Neighborhoods 2020 webpage as we move through this process.
If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to your organization’s neighborhood specialist, Deputy Director Karen Moe or myself.
