Beginning at 9:00 a.m. at this year's conference, join us for a robust conversation about connecting community activism to systemic change. The dialogue will focus on intersectional and intergenerational movements, community engagement in the 21st century and the power of narrative.

Volunteers guide attendees to workshops, help at the registration desk and answer questions during the conference. If you are able to help support the Community Connections Conference by volunteering, contact Stacy.Sorenson@minneapolismn.gov or sign up when you register after January 2.

Neighborhoods Showcase booths at 2018 Community Connections Conference

Exhibitor registration for the 2019 Community Connections Conference closes on Jan. 16, 2019. As of today, we have filled 65% of the available exhibit spaces.

This year, our exhibit hall will feature a neighborhood organization showcase and information on City of Minneapolis appointed boards and commissions.

You can apply to serve as an adviser on these boards and commissions on the issues that you care about. City staff will be on hand to answer questions. Read more...

One Family One Community exhibiting at the 2018 Community Connections Conference

Exhibitor space is free for nonprofits and public entities. For other exhibitors, read more on the exhibitor information page here.

Exhibitors will receive:

  • A 10'x10' exhibit space.
  • A table, table skirt and two chairs.
  • Inclusion in program in print and online. 
  • Complimentary breakfast, lunch and beverages.

Please note that Wi-Fi and electrical service are not included, but they are available for purchase from Minneapolis Convention Center Exhibitor Information.

Last year's event had over 690 attendees from all over Minneapolis. Register your exhibit here by Jan. 16, 2019.
