Neighborhoods 2020
is a community process to identify the next generation of neighborhood
programming, funding and governance structure to support the City’s 70
neighborhood organizations starting in 2020 and beyond. Three work groups have been established to
cover the major function areas of this work: programming and funding;
governance; and citywide engagement policy. The work groups consist of representatives from neighborhood
organizations, cultural groups, those with equity/undoing racism experience and representatives appointed by City Council and the mayor. The goal is to have policy recommendations to the City Council by
January 2019.
