City Approves Changes to Homegrown Small Business Fund
City of Minneapolis approved changes to the Homegrown Small Business Fund: reducing the match
requirement, expanding eligible uses of funds and eligible lending partners, and
exploring a pilot grant component in the Promise Zone with a community
philanthropic partner. Modified loan program will be launched with full details in early 2018. View staff

City Appoints Community Members for 2018-19 Food Council
City of Minneapolis approved a slate of 15 community member representatives to serve on the 2018-19 Homegrown Minneapolis Food Council. The full list of 2018-19 Food Council members including City, MPRB and MPS representatives will be announced in early 2018. View list of community members here.
Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) Seeks Applicants for Community Representative to Food Council
MPRB is seeking applicants to fill the open position for their community representative on the Homegrown Minneapolis Food Council. Appointments for open positions
will be made at the January 2, 2018 business meeting of the Minneapolis Park and
