MO Deferred Comp provides a $25 monthly incentive match to savings contributions for State of Missouri employees. Your contributions (whether in dollars or as a percentage, pre-tax or Roth) must be at least $25 a month to receive the $25 incentive match toward the end of the following month. The monthly matching incentive is funded through the State of Missouri's annual budget and is established by the State of Missouri legislation. Because the incentive is tied to the state budget, the amount may change from year to year based on funding approved by the Missouri General Assembly and signed into law. The monthly incentive match is contributed as pre-tax dollars to your MO Deferred Comp Incentive Plan source and can be invested in the plan's available options. If no investment option is chosen, the default option is the Missouri Target Date Fund with the year closest to when you would turn age 65.

Summer Memories and Missouri Adventures
Before summer ends, create an end-of-summer time capsule! Grab a small box, envelope, or jar and fill it with memories from the season. Include your answers to the prompts below, then tuck it away and set a reminder to open it next summer to rediscover the memories and see what has changed. Since Missouri is home to more than 1,000 conservation areas, there are endless opportunities to make memories close to home. Whether you enjoy hiking scenic trails, casting a line at a local fishing spot, watching wildlife, or simply relaxing in nature, the Missouri Department of Conservation has something for everyone.
As summer winds down and back‑to‑school season approaches, consider planning an outdoor adventure with family or friends. From peaceful lakes and shaded trails to hands‑on educational programs, Missouri makes it easy to explore and create lasting memories worth adding to your time capsule.
