Stretch Your Legs, Not Your Schedule |
Take a quick walk during your breaks. Even 5–10 minutes of movement can boost your energy, reduce stiffness, and help reset your focus throughout the work day. |
Work(out) With What You've Got |
You don’t need fancy equipment to stay active, even a few everyday items can turn into a quick workout:
Towel → Resistance band for stretches, rows, or upper body work.
Backpack filled with books → Added weight for squats or lunges.
Wall → Space to do incline push-ups or calf stretches.
Sturdy chair → Sturdy support for tricep dips or seated leg lifts.
Full water bottle or canned goods → Hand weights for curls or shoulder presses.
Small moves add up; find what you have around you to keeping moving and grooving throughout the day.
Challenge: Select two moves above and complete them each day for a week during one of your breaks. You might be surprised how much better you feel! As with any exercise regimen, check with your doctor for what is appropriate for your unique health considerations. |
