Set Boundaries That Protect Your Peace |
|
Protecting your peace often means taking breaks and giving yourself permission to prioritize your physical, mental, and emotional health. This also includes knowing when to say no. Boundaries aren’t barriers; they’re a form of self-respect. This month, practice saying yes to rest and what truly brings you joy. For example, if you’re feeling drained after a busy week, skip the extra plans and spend the evening relaxing at home or doing something that recharges you instead. |
|
Join us on November 19 at 11:30 a.m. for a casual 30-minute session where you can get to know the MO Benefits team, ask questions, and find who can help if you’re unsure where to go. No agenda, just open conversation and support for your benefits needs! Click here to register. |

Create Your Own DIY Wellness Kit
This month, we’re focusing on protecting what truly matters, our health, peace of mind, and emotional well-being. A great way to do that is by keeping a few essentials on hand to help you reset, reflect, and recharge. Try putting together your own DIY wellness kit to support your mental and emotional wellness throughout the season.

Here’s some ideas of what you can include in your kit:
-
Soothing item: stress ball, fidget toy, or a soft cloth.
-
Aroma boost: essential oil roller (like lavender) or a calming tea bag.
-
Mood lifter: a photo that makes you smile, a small notebook of positive affirmations, or a quote that grounds you.
-
Self-care basics: lip balm, hand lotion, or a mini first aid kit.
-
Mental break tool: adult coloring page, mini puzzle, or a journal prompt.
-
Personal touch: something that brings you joy such as a favorite pen, a snack, or a sticker.
Pro tip: Store your kit in a small box, pouch, or reusable bag and keep it at your desk, in your car, or by your bed. Use it when you need a moment to pause and recenter to find your calm and focus.
