After experiencing delays due to extreme heat, the Office of Administration-Division of Facilities Management, Design, & Construction (OA-FMDC) expects construction to begin this week on the main entrance of OA's new west campus site, located at 4720 Scruggs Station Road in Jefferson City. Until it is complete, drivers navigating through the main entrance will be limited to one lane.
What to Expect
As the new entrance is being built, drivers will use the right lane until work on the left lane is completed. The OA Carpool overnight drop box will remain in its current location, just inside the main entrance.
OA-FMDC expects construction of the new entry way to go by fairly quickly. While it is being built, please drive slowly around construction crews.
Please be prepared for potential noise and dust during this construction project. Refer to the map below for more information.

Upon completion, the new entrance will feature an island equipped with a guard booth and gates on both the entry and exit sides for enhanced security.
In the coming weeks, crews will also be pouring concrete and striping what will eventually be the new OA Carpool parking lot along Fairgrounds Road.
