I am looking forward to the upcoming Buy Missouri Week, October 14th through the 21st. Be sure to let us know how you plan to celebrate and promote Buy Missouri Week - we would be happy to help spread the word.
During my travels across the state, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to share more about the Buy Missouri Program and the upcoming Buy Missouri Week. As a small businessman and entrepreneur, I always encourage Missourians to support our friends and neighbors by shopping local, but especially during Buy Missouri Week.
Claudia and I enjoyed visiting with Buy Missouri Member, Woods Smoked Meats, in Bowling Green earlier this week. Owner, Steve Bolton, told us about the award-winning history of the business, and we enjoyed learning more about their custom meat processing business, their retail storefront, and the many jerky, summer sausages and snack sticks that are all made in-house. I highly recommend you stop by Woods Smoked Meats the next time you are in the Pike County area.
