Kaylie Woods: Plans for her Future
Kaylie is a 22 year old, single mother with big dreams. She was working part-time and enjoyed the job, but was at a dead end spot with no room for growth.
Kaylie's mother told her about the SkillUP program and encouraged her to “try it out”. Kaylie decided to reach out to a case manager to ask for more information and before she knew it, she was sitting face-to-face making plans about her future.
When Kaylie was meeting with the case manager, she mentioned she loves to make people feel good about themselves and loves being the one making it happen. After the meeting, they created a plan to help her desires come to life from start to finish.
She successfully enrolled in the esthetician program through Renaissance Beauty Academy. Throughout the process, Kaylie, often leaned on her case manager for help and the SkillUP program paid for tuition and testing fees.
Kaylie successfully completed the training and has started her own business called “Aesthetically Yours”. Some of the services she offers are facials, waxes, lash extensions, and massages. She is thriving and said, “I now have a solid career path that I can take anywhere thanks to SkillUP.”
