Creating a Brighter Future for Missouri’s Children!

Child Support Awareness Month is a time to celebrate and recognize that every child matters!  During August, the Family Support Division’s Child Support Program spreads the word about the critical role child support plays in the lives of Missouri’s children.

It’s a time for all Missourians to look to the future of our state and work together to make our children’s future stable and bright. Child Support programs help promote the safety and well-being of children by helping provide economic stability and opportunities for families to enhance their children’s futures.

Child Support Awareness Month increases public awareness of the importance of Child Support services and the need for all parents to take responsibility for the financial, emotional and physical support of their children. To that end, Missouri joins the nation in recognizing August as Child Support Awareness Month.
