Gift cards can be purchased for $25 or greater and may be used at specific park and historic site locations for various uses such as camping and merchandise. Gift cards can be purchased by calling 877-422-6766 or 800-334-6946 or at many Missouri state parks. For specific information about what gift cards may be used for, go to mostateparks.com.


Dear State Park eFriends

Welcome to the December issue of State Park eFriends. It’s hard to believe that 2012 will soon be coming to a close. It has been an amazing and productive year and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. I hope your time in Missouri state parks was a highlight of your year.

With Christmas not far away, it’s time to start thinking about gifts for outdoor lovers. State park gift cards are the perfect solution and are easy and convenient to use. The new Trails of Missouri State Parks is a great gift for anyone who already loves trails or for someone who wants to explore trails for the first time in 2013. December also means it’s time to enjoy the many holiday events in state parks and historic sites.

Looking for information on Missouri state parks and historic sites? Stop by our booth at one of the upcoming boat and sportshows. Missouri State Parks will be at the Kansas City Boat and Sportshow Jan. 10-13; St. Louis RV Vacation and Travel Show Jan. 10-13; Mid-America RV Show in Kansas City Jan. 17-20; and St. Louis Boat and Sportshow Feb. 6-10.

December Events

Explore a different side of Missouri state parks and historic sites during December with the many holiday traditions and events. Photographs are one way you can capture the beauty and fun you experienced in a state park or historic site. Throughout the summer, Missouri State Parks partnered with Rural Missouri magazine for a state park photo contest with winners in six categories receiving Missouri State Park Getaway Packages.
