The Inauguration of Governor Mike Kehoe
On Monday, January 13, Mike Kehoe was sworn in as the 58th Governor of the State of Missouri. Also sworn in were Lieutenant Governor David Wasinger, Secretary of State Denny Hoskins, State Treasurer Vivek Malek, and Attorney General Andrew Bailey. The First Regular Session of the 103rd General Assembly Begins
The 103rd General Assembly convened its first regular session on Wednesday, January 8. Lawmakers have taken their oaths of office, voted for members to serve in leadership positions, and first read pre-filed and introduced legislation.

- The House Committee on Workforce and Infrastructure Development was abolished, and the House Committee on Higher Education was changed to the House Committee on Higher Education and Workforce Development.
- The Senate Committee on Education and Workforce Development was changed to the Senate Committee on Education, and the Senate Committee on Economic Development and Tax Policy was changed to the Senate Committee on Economic and Workforce Development.
