Senate Committee Votes Multiple Higher Education Bills Do Pass
This week, the Senate Select Committee on Empowering Missouri Parents and Children, chaired by Sen. Curtis Trent (R-Republic), voted SCS for HB 1569, SB 1125, and HB 2310 do pass.
- SCS for HB 1569, sponsored by Rep. Ann Kelley (R-Lamar), modifies provisions relating to education. The senate committee substitute is not available online at this time.

SB 1125, sponsored by Sen. Ben Brown (R-Washington), prohibits public institutions of postsecondary education from requiring the submission of diversity, equity, and inclusion statements.

HB 2310, sponsored by Rep. Cameron Parker (R- Campbell), modifies the "Higher Education Core Curriculum Transfer Act.”
