We hope you’re staying healthy and getting this whole school from home thing figured out okay. It’s a challenging time for students, teachers, families, and businesses, but together, we’ll all get through it. We’ve created a webpage with some resources that could be helpful for you during this time. Visit our Journey to College COVID-19 resource page for information about ACT testing, financial aid, and mental health resources.

The June SAT test has been canceled, but tests will resume in August. Online resources are currently free to help you get ready.

High School Seniors
May 1 is Decision Day, the day most colleges and universities ask that you notify them of your plans to enroll for the fall semester. Some colleges have extended their dates, so be sure to check out information from the schools you are most interested in attending for the most accurate date.
It’s okay if you aren’t ready to make a decision yet. There are so many options for training and education beyond high school. Whether you choose an apprenticeship or work-based learning opportunity, pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree, the most important thing is making an informed decision and finding your best fit!
Decision Day isn’t just about sharing your plans for the future, it’s also about celebrating your accomplishments. Congratulations on all your hard work!
Although Missouri schools won’t be back in session due to COVID-19, you can still celebrate Decision Day online. Be proud of your accomplishments, and keep an eye out for important information regarding your future plans:
- Make a DIY graduation hat with a square of cardboard. Decorate it and celebrate by posting it on social media, tagging Journey to College. You can easily slip this on to your graduation cap with the time for in-person celebrations comes.
- Visit the Federal Student Aid's COVID info page and reach out to the financial aid office at the school you hope to attend to see if there’s anything you need to do.
- If you haven’t yet, it’s important that you submit your FAFSA so you can receive all the financial aid available to you.
- If you’ve decided on a college, talk to an admissions representative to understand every step of the process you need to complete from now until fall.
