LOIS and Lightcast Workforce Training for Economic Developers
Partners and stakeholders,
Together, the Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) and Missouri Partnership are excited to offer a series of webinars highlighting property marketing services available to Missouri’s regional, county, and local economic development organizations. The series includes dedicated webinars showcasing LOIS, Lasso, and the new Lightcast workforce data now available in LOIS. By teaming up to provide these webinars, we aim to increase visibility and expand opportunities for communities to attract new businesses while also supporting existing ones. In case you might wonder... participation in LOIS is not required to use Lasso, but organizations are strongly encouraged to attend all trainings to become familiar with both systems and maximize their impact.
LOIS markets sites and buildings on the websites of economic development organizations to engage with the site selectors and corporations considering their territory. Examples and best practices will be shared on how to easily integrate the LOIS Map viewer on your website to market your communities and available properties. LOIS will also highlight the new Lightcast Workforce integration to support the site selection process. LOIS FAQs are now available here.
Lightcast Workforce data is now available within the LOIS property marketing tools for communities and economic developers in Missouri. The webinar will highlight this powerful new feature that delivers detailed Annual Average Wages and Employment Counts by Occupation and Industry, displayed through interactive heat maps and custom drive-time analyses. Reports can be easily exported in Excel or PDF formats.
Lasso is a digital request for information (RFI) software that enables global companies and site selectors to collect property data from organizations. It streamlines the site selection process by standardizing property data collection and accelerating the process of submitting property proposals to RFIs. Lasso lightens the load by recalling data and properties to submit to Lasso site selection project RFIs. Lasso FAQs are available here.
Be on the lookout for additional information in the coming days and weeks. LOIS information is being provided by DED and Lasso via Missouri Partnership. In the meantime, should you have any questions pertinent to these trainings, please reach out to Cara Weber, Vice President, Special Projects for Missouri Partnership, at cara@missouripartnership.com.
While not required, we recommend attending the training(s) specific to your region. To attend, register via a training date link below. A confirmation email with details will be immediately sent once registered.
