COVID19: Understanding FDA Regulations for PPE

At the Missouri Department of Economic Development, we're committed to keeping Missourians safe and stopping the spread of COVID-19.

Governor Parson has called on Missouri manufacturers to help produce personal protective equipment (PPE) to keep Missouri's health care workers in the fight against COVID-19.

If you are interested in contributing to this effort, we hope you will join us for a webinar on Tuesday, April 21 to learn more about the U.S Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) guidance regarding PPE and sanitizers.

The FDA has temporarily reduced the regulatory requirements that apply to most PPE and sanitizers in response to the COVID-19 epidemic. Kate Dickerson and Seth Mailhot, lawyers from Missouri-based firm Husch Blackwell, LLP, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Economic Development, will provide an overview of the FDA’s recent actions regarding PPE and sanitizers for any business considering production of the same.
