The Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) would
like to invite you to learn how two of its assistance programs can benefit your
community. The workshops are open to
community and nonprofit leaders and will be hosted in Cape Girardeau on March
13, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. and in Trenton
on March 20, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
Each workshop will cover information on DED’s Neighborhood
Assistance Program (NAP) and Youth Opportunity Program (YOP). Program summaries,
eligibility, types of projects funded, application cycles and more will be
covered. Registration is required. To register, click here.
- NAP helps nonprofit organizations raise
private-sector funds by providing partial state tax credits to businesses that
make contributions to approved community improvement projects. For more
information, click here.
- YOP provides tax credits to organizations
administering positive youth development or crime prevention projects. For more
information, click here.
DED team leads will also be taking short appointments
directly following the workshops for those who wish to discuss a specific
project. To schedule an appointment, email Kim Baughman at kimberly.baughman@ded.mo.gov.
