Incident Summary: On December 2nd, 2016 at approximately 6:11 P.M. the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office 911 center received a call of two hunters that were late in returning to their meeting point. The two adult brothers and their dogs were suppose to return to the Echo Lake Ruffed Grouse Hunter walking trail at approximately 4:30 P.M., and were unable to be reached by cell phone.

Area first responders, including the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office Volunteer Rescue Squad were dispatched to the area to assist in the search effort. At approximately 11:12 P.M. the two hunters and their canine companions were all located in good condition by searchers, with no medial attention necessary.
