Incident Summary: On November 17th, 2016 at approximately 7:00 P.M. The Saint Louis County Sheriff's Office received a report of a lost hunter. 72 year old Ronald FREUNDL was hunting near the Echo Rapids Road in Portage Township approximately 20 miles North East of Orr when a member of his hunting party called 911 after he did not return from hunting. The Saint Louis County Volunteer Rescue squad responded and assisted with the search for FREUNDL. FREUNDL was located at approximately 10:30 P.M. cold and wet about a mile from where he had been last seen hunting.  FREUNDL was transported by the Orr Ambulance to the Cook Hospital as a precaution for possible hypothermia.
