Incident Summary: On September 7, 2016 the Boundary Waters Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force along with assistance from the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and Carlton County K9 arrested Perkovich after conducting a traffic stop in the 3900 block of Hwy 33 in St. Louis County. An execution of search warrant of Perkovich's vehicle yielded approximately 12 ounces of methamphetamine destined for the "Iron Range." Perkovich was formally charged on September 9, 2016 with 1st degree sales methamphetamine, 5th degree possession of methamphetamine and introducing contraband (drugs) into the jail.
