Grant McMahon Blvd reopens after flooding caused by beaver dam 

Grant McMahon Boulevard (County State Aid Highway 88) near Ely has reopened to traffic. A portion of the road, between Burntside Lodge Road and Schaeffer Road, had been closed since yesterday due to flooding caused by a beaver dam breaking loose. St. Louis County Public Works crews have made minor temporary repairs, but must wait for the water to further recede to determine what additional repairs are needed.
