Incident Summary: The Saint Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to an ATV fatality crash that occurred in the 7800 Block of Forest Road 257 in Britt, Mn. 24 year old Jason TRISKA and 23 year old Donald RODERICK were traveling Westbound on Forest Road 257 on a CAN AM Renegade ATV when they lost control of the ATV as they were entering a curve in the road.  Roderick was ejected from the ATV and transported by the Virginia Ambulance to the Essentia-Health Virginia Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Triska was located underneath the ATV which had overturned in the crash and was pronounced dead on scene. Helmets were not worn at the time of the crash and alcohol is believed to be a factor.  The initial report received was that Triska was the operator of the ATV and Roderick was his passenger, however the crash remains under investigation by the Saint Louis County Sheriff's Office.
