On April 28, 2016, Guy Robert Franklin Rabold was sentenced to 240 months in prison by Judge Eric L. Hylden for his role in a home invasion which occurred on June 5, 2015.  Shortly after 1:00 a.m. Rabold and accomplice, John Sorenson, entered the residence in Rice Lake Township.  The men were wearing masks and brandishing guns with flashlights attached to the barrels, intending to rob the homeowners.  Both suspects were captured by law enforcement (with the assistance from Sheriff’s K-9 “Diesel”) shortly after the victims were able to call 911.
