Public Works reports water on several roads, urges motorists to use caution
Melting spring snow combined with several inches of rain and wet snow that have fallen since yesterday have left some county roads flooded, and others with standing water on them. St. Louis County Public Works currently has closed eight roads in various parts of the County. An additional 20 roads have water on them, but are considered passable.
All of the affected roads have relatively low traffic usage, and signs are in place alerting motorists to water on the road, or the road closures .
Public Works crews are monitoring the roads and will provide updates as needed. Anyone who encounters a dangerous road condition is asked to report it by calling 911.
