Students across the district will be performing concerts in the coming days. Take in the beautiful notes from our amazing high school and middle school choirs, orchestras and bands or enjoy the spirited tunes of our elementary crooners.

Community weighs in on World's Best Workforce plan

A group of community members are weighing in on how the district is equipping students with the skills, attributes and experiences they will need as they become our future workforce. More than 30 residents, parents and staff came together last week to learn more about the district's World's Best Workforce plan, and offer feedback and ideas to help us improve for the future. First-time kindergarten parents invited to special meeting

Join us for a meeting to help you and your child prepare for kindergarten. Parent educators will share important information to make sure your child is ready for the next step and answer any questions you may have. A panel of parents and teachers will also offer helpful tips about planning for a smooth transition to kindergarten.

This free class is intended for first-time kindergarten parents only. The meeting will be offered on December 10 at Brookview Elementary from 6-7:30 p.m. or at the Early Childhood Family Center on December 16 from 6-7:30 p.m. Childcare is available ($5/family). Register online

Interested in sending your child to one of our preschools? Please join us for an Open House at one of our eight locations. Visit the classroom and meet the teachers to learn more about our preschool program.

Open houses will be held Wednesday, January 15 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at all of our locations. More info.

Registration for the 2020-2021 school year opens January 16
If your child will be 3 on or before Sept. 1, 2020 they will be eligible for our Three-school classes at the Family Center. If your child will be 4 on or before Sept. 1, 2020 they will be eligible for the preschool classrooms at our elementary schools and at the Family Center.

The Community Education winter catalog is live online! There are 41 new classes offered, including family snowshoeing, HIIT workouts, dancing, and fun day trips. Register now!


Board meeting notice

The school board has rescheduled the work session cancelled last week. The work session will be held at the Central Services Building on Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 7:30-9:30 a.m. to discuss referendum options, board priorities and district needs. Read the notice online.
