Graduation rates in Stillwater are increasing

The percentage of students graduating from Stillwater Area Public Schools is on the rise. According to data released by the Minnesota Department of Education, the Stillwater Area High School class of 2018 had a graduation rate of 95%, which was up from 92.5% the previous year. A total of 626 students graduated from Stillwater Area High School last year. Read more.

Students celebrate Earth Day

Students at Stonebridge Elementary celebrated Earth Day by getting a little dirty. They learned about composting and recycling from the school’s Green Team. They even got to hold some composting worms! Read more on our website.

Oak-Land notes

Teachers encourage students with personal notes

Oak-Land Middle School students returned to school from the long weekend to find personal notes from their teachers posted in their lockers. The handwritten notes provided words of encouragement, affirmation and celebration of the things that make each student unique.

Concert choir comes home for annual concert

Board selects firm to lead long range planning effort

The school board voted to select Cunningham Group as the facilitator for the long range facilities planning process. This group will lead the community task force and help guide them through the work of studying facility needs and developing a recommendation for the school board to consider. School board meeting notice

The school board policy working group will hold a meeting on Monday, May 6 from 8‐9:30 a.m. at Central Services located at 1875 Greeley Street South in Stillwater. This meeting is in addition to their regular schedule to continue their policy work. See official notice.
