Students to attend school March 29 and April 19

Make-up days have been added to the school calendar for middle and high school students on Friday, March 29 and Friday, April 19. The school board approved the change to the school calendar to provide make-up days in response to the unprecedented school cancellations caused by snow and cold. March 29 will be a make-up day for ALL students in grades K-12. April 19 will be a make-up day for only students in grades 6-12 only. Read more online.

High school students celebrate BLAST week

Students at the high school celebrated diversity and showered one another with kindness this past week during BLAST week, which stands for Be Loving and Sharing Together. SAHS students took part in a variety of special activities and panel discussions throughout the week to celebrate Black History month, learn about various cultures and promote kindness and love. State champion gymnastics team to defend title
Good luck to the gymnastics team as they compete in the state tournament Friday and Saturday. You can watch the Ponies live starting tonight at 6 p.m.

Ski teams finish well in state tourney
Congrats to the girls and boys Nordic ski teams! The girls team finished 3rd at state and the boys placed 4th - just one point off the podium.

In alpine skiing, the boys finished 5th at state, while the defending state champion girls placed 7th.

Wrestling team heading to state
The wrestling team captured the Section 4AAA championship for the third year in a row! The Ponies went undefeated (20-0) in the regular season and are ranked 2nd in the state.

Looking for Link Crew Leaders

We are looking for up to 140 juniors (next year’s seniors) and sophomores (next year’s juniors) to “Link” to the incoming freshmen class. We are seeking all types of leadership. You would assist in transitioning the new 9th graders to the high school environment. You can access registration for 2019 AP exams here

  • Feb. 4: Registration opens
  • Feb 18-24: Late registration accepted with a $10 per exam late fee
  • Feb. 25-Mar. 3:Late registration accepted with a $20 per exam late fee
  • Mar. 3: Deadline to register at 11:59 p.m. (*Registration closes)
