Mountain bike team wins back-to-back state championships

MTB

The Stillwater Area High School mountain bike team captured back-to-back state championships! Stillwater closed out the season with a first place showing at the Minnesota High School Cycling League State Championship race at Mount Kato in Mankato.

After combining points from the championship race, along with five races during the regular season, the Ponies placed 1st overall in the state.


Boys soccer team plays in third straight state championship

Good luck to the boys soccer team as they play in the state championship game! The Ponies take on Duluth East today at 5:30 p.m. at US Bank Stadium. You can watch the game live streamed online at www.prepspotlight.tv/MSHSL. Go Ponies!


Volleyball team wins section championship

The volleyball team is heading to state! The Ponies won back-to-back section titles after beating North St. Paul in 5 sets. Watch highlightsThe girls will move on to the state tournament, which will be held November 8-10. Check goponies.org for more information to come.


High schoolers share special bond formed in second grade

"Trey is an honor student and captain of the high school's wrestling team. Adam has autism and spends his days in special education. Yet, their friendship - started in 2nd grade at Stonebridge Elementary - has never wavered."

"We’ve had many, many people come into Adam's life and all of a sudden they never come back," Adam's mom says. "Trey is the one who’s stayed true."

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest W. Stanley are thrilled when Sheridan Whiteside, a brilliant, witty, and widely beloved radio celebrity, accepts their invitation to dinner on his tour through their little town of Mesalia, Ohio. However, when Whiteside injures himself by slipping on a piece of ice on their doorstep, and is confined to their home for the better part of December, the Stanleys are not so pleased with the change in their household.
