Teens teach literacy to four-year-olds

Stillwater Middle School students traveled across the parking lot to read and work with classrooms of four-year-olds at the Early Childhood Family Center. The seventh grade students were trained on how to interact and read to children of this age. The older kids led different stations as the younger students worked on various activities, and then read them books. The seventh graders practiced asking questions to the young students to perk their curiosity and to check for comprehension.

tackle cancer 2018

Thank you to everyone who helped support this year's Tackle Cancer fundraiser, which is organized by the high school's football team. Through incredible generosity our community raised $23,514. The money will go to the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund which supports cancer research and patient aid programs in Minnesota. Since 2012, the Ponies have contributed just over $62,000 to the fund.
