Let's Talk ... Empathy

Middle school can be a challenging time for parents and students alike. In the latest "Let's Talk" video, students invite their parents to talk with them about empathy. At a time in their lives when self-confidence is low and emotions are high, kids look to their parents to help them learn to be kind to others and strong in the face of adversity. Check out the short video (created by Stillwater students) and access other resources at stillwaterschools.org/letstalk.

Less cupcakes leads to more fun in district classrooms

wellness

It’s been more than a year since district staff, parents, teachers, doctors, dietitians, and community members came together to focus on our students overall health and wellness. The result - a wellness policy that has led the way for new initiatives and practices that are making a difference in the lives of our students.

Check out this video to learn more about the great work that’s been taking place, and how our school community - students, teachers and parents - are responding.

Veggies

Students dress their veggies

What a fun way to celebrate National School Lunch Week! More than a hundred elementary students took part in our Dress a Veggie contest last week. From pumpkins and potatoes to grapes and zucchini - food has never looked so good! For more photos visit our Facebook page.
