Spring has officially arrived along the Link corridor, bringing a surge of visible progress. Construction is now underway at nearly every future station site, with each location advancing as the system continues to take shape. Take a look below to see how progress is unfolding across the project.
West Transit Village
Grading activities are ongoing as crews prepare for upcoming storm sewer and watermain installation, beginning next week and continuing over the coming weeks. Teams are actively coordinating with construction partners to ensure a smooth transition into utility work. Looking ahead, initial fill operations are anticipated to begin toward the end of April.

2nd Street SW
Major structural work continues at the Saint Marys Transit Center. Crews are advancing elevator construction, with drilling for the elevator sleeve currently underway. A crane is onsite with tunnel-related work anticipated to start next week. Additional concrete work, including forms and footings, is expected in the coming days, with utility work anticipated to begin in May.

6th Avenue Stations
Excavation for the 6th Avenue Stations began this week, marking a key step forward. Work on the eastbound station will continue next week, with foundation and footing construction to follow.

19th Avenue – Westbound Station
Steel erection at the future westbound 19th Avenue Station is ongoing, with major structural elements wrapping up this week. Crews continued work on the platform area as the station footprint becomes more defined.

Civic Center Stations
Construction activity has officially started on the Civic Center Stations. Concrete removals began this week, with utility work and station excavation set to continue into next week. Crews are also preparing the site perimeter with fencing to secure the area as work progresses.

6th Street SE and 3rd Avenue SE
Work is ongoing along 6th Street SE, with stormwater pipe rough-in now complete. Signal installation at the intersection of 6th Street SE and 3rd Avenue SE is scheduled April 13 to 21, requiring the closure of 6th Street SE east of 3rd Avenue SE.

Maintenance Bay
Crews are hanging the precast walls this week. Upcoming work will include installing steel trusses and the roof.
