eCRV Update - version 3.0 Released to Production!!

Good day! You may receive this email twice. Once from me the old fashioned way, and once from GovDelivery (our new partner!).

Our new partnership with GovDelivery will allow you to manage your subscription for eCRV Notifications.

 

I have been sending out eCRV notifications from my Outlook account, with all of you entered manually into my "Contacts" list.

 

Now with over 600 people receiving eCRV Updates, it's just become a little unmanageable from my end, and it scares me that I might lose

my contact list, and everyone's email addresses.

 

Those of you I had contacts for have already been subscribed for the eCRV announcement list!

 

I just want to thank those of you who responded to my email the other day about "future dates".

In all the time I have sent out eCRV Updates, I have never ever had so much response. People I long ago assumed to be dead came back to life! :-)

+++ New calming "blue" look & feel to match new DOR website presence.

 

+++ Fixed indentation on the action bar displayed on the bottom of the submit app.

 

+++ PDF of an eCRV also changed to match new "look & feel"

+++ In both State search and County search, the 'Study Year' drop down list does not include the current study year after October. - Fixed!

+++ Update Search Help for new "look & feel".

 

+++ Per promise to Mike Cunniff, added the ability in the County App to import parcels entered by submitters. Disabled import button when no parcels are available to import.

 

+++ Changed the order on "Need help?" - email first and then phone number per request from the eCRV Support Team. :-)

 

+++ Cleaned up Search Help images file.

 

+++ Tidied up the validation check whether to print "TEST" on the PDF and receipt page - to correct problem with "TEST" printing in Production. (bug fix was released to Production early!)

 

+++ Created B17 tag, version 2.5-BugFixes branch, with revisions 3805, 3808 & 3809 to remove TEST references in Production.

 

+++ The deed tax estimate displayed at the top of each page showed an incorrect value for "assumed mortgage" types - Fixed!

 

+++ Fixed CSS issues for Legends on CRV Versions screen. This issue occurred when using IE as a browser only.

 

+++ Fixed to open CRV versions screen in new window. Issue occurs in Firefox but it could occur on IE also based on the user settings. Made the changes to have a consistent look and feel.

 

+++ Updated footer contact info for new "look and feel" - affects all applications.

 

+++ Fixed titles on the popup windows.

 

+++ Added the word 'Sale' to the Adjustment labels. Adjustment Code, Adjustment Amount, Adjustment Notes -to- Sale Adjustment Code, Sale Adjustment Amount, Sale Adjustment Notes.

 

+++ Updated the Buyers/Sellers help in Submit application.

 

+++ Updated Sales Agreement help in Submit application.

+++ The Primary Parcel ID is validated when the save button is pushed. A red warning flags the error.

                The warning should not go away when another 'Add' button is pushed, but should remain until the error is corrected.

                Currently, the warning goes away when another 'Add' button is pushed. - Fixed!

 

+++ Added methods for processing group action workflow items. (to be implemented in future versions!)

 

+++ Automated test scripts for all eCRV UI modules.

 

+++ Removed Recaptcha check (two quiz words entered to gain access) and replaced with much simpler and clearer one word check for Submit and Public Search applications.

 

+++ eCRV now does not copy private address indicator when creating a new buyer/seller by copying an existing buyer/seller.

 

+++ eCRV now does not save the "I declare" indicator when saving a partial eCRV.

 

+++ eCRV now does not copy recommended State study indicators when transferring to the state.

 

+++ Transfer out validation was skipping the state study recommendation requirement. This is fixed on both City and County apps.

 

+++ Fixed City help page links to open help page in new window versus tab.

 

+++ Access privileges did not allow a user in the County/City apps to view the State Version of the eCRV. This has been changed so that the "View eCRV Versions" links are able to pull the State Copy of the eCRV.

 

+++ Added new functionality to compare what's different between 2 versions of an eCRV. Allows you to visually compare County-vs-Original, or Original-vs-State copies of an eCRV. Shows you right down to the letter what has been changed on an eCRV.

 

+++ Submit application - SSN, Tax ID and State Tax id are now saved during partial save. All of these fields are now masked (like a password entry field) and require dual entry to verify masked entries match.

 

+++ City Application - St Cloud was getting Hennepin jurisdiction list - fixed!

 

+++ Since many Submitters do not have a PDF Viewer plugin installed in their browsers - we added an option to download the PDF of a eCRV (mainly for submission to form use counties).

 

+++ City Help pages update - screen shots show new look & feel.

 

+++ County Help pages greatly expanded!

 

+++ SQR# 3491 - Duplicate lines for the same eCRV were displayed when there were multiple classes for the same entry. These multiple classes are entered by the county on the county tab, property classes. There should only be a single line displayed for each CRV submitted. Fixed!

 

+++ SQR #3487 - Submit - Warning page now informs Submitters not to enter Private info in the comments field before they can submit an eCRV. Warning given once per session only, not for every eCRV entered.

 

+++ SQR # 3320 - Submit/City/County - Ensured all conditional fields are displayed in the PDF created on submit for FORM Use counties:

 

                The following fields did not appear:

                       Shoreline Feet   --- displayed after MN Water Body ID

+++ SQR 3422 - State Application - show 100 rows per page in the search results.

 

+++ SQR 2789 & SQR 2790 - City/County - Parcel ID, City/Town and School Dist are all required fields. However, the validation error message icon appeared for the first 2 on Save, but not for School Dist.

                That field's error icon didn't appear until you click "Save with county final validation". Now, all 3 fields work the same.

 

+++ SQR 3423 - State Application, "Agree and Complete" now supports group actions. Workflow event added for all eCRVs marked for this action.

 

+++ SQR 3114 & 3113 - City/County - when adding a Property Class - validation other than "Primary" is not performed now until "Save with County Final" is selected.

 

+++ SQR 2167 - Submit - Submit Fields with Validation/Formatting Issues

 

                In the Property Tab

                                If Property Type Code is Ag/Rural, now requires a value of greater than 0 from the field 'Total Acres Associated with Property'

 

                                If Property Type Code is Apt & Property Use Code: if not Vac, the following fields now require a value greater than 0:

                                                Number of Rental Buildings

                                                Number of Rental Units in all Buildings

 

                                If Property Type Code is Managed Forest, now requires a value of greater than 0 from the field 'Timber Acres Associated with Property'

 

                In the Sales Agreement Tab

                                If the answer to the personal property question is yes, the Value for each personal property added must be greater than 0

+++ SQR 3502 - On the Supplementary Tab of the eCRV there is the question: "Are the buyer and seller relatives or related businesses?"

 

                On the printable PDF this question was referred to as "Buyer and Seller are affiliated: (yes or no)"

 

                This has been changed so that what appears on the eCRV matches what prints on the PDF

+++ SQR 3544 - City/County - Renamed Workflow Tab, Transfer Sub-Tab, "Transfers" Section to "Transfer". Dropped "s".

 

+++ SQR 3536 - City/County - After initial login to County app, clicking on a search results header such as CRV ID, Study Year, etc. produced the response

                "Please correct the form errors." in red italics at the top of the page. eCRV shouldn't have shown this since there really aren't form errors at this point.

                User just hasn't done a search yet. Doing the same in the City app produces a General Failure Page. - both have been fixed!

 

+++ SQR 3535 - City/County/State - Scenario: Side task was added to an eCRV. Then, before that side task was removed from the eCRV,

                the definition of that side task was changed in County Settings to inactivate it. In that particular circumstance, the application throws a GFP error

                when navigating to the Workflow tab on that eCRV. The application now handles this scenario just fine, as this sequence of events is perfectly valid for a user to do.

               

+++ SQR 3552 - County - Accept an eCRV - below <Accept> buttons - text was "eCRV Summary" and was a link which didn't go anywhere. Now displayed as title text and

                verbiage changed to "eCRV Preview".

               

+++ SQR 3564 - City/County - Removed ability for read only user role to route an eCRV.

 

+++ SQR 3565 - Placed page titles on pages linked to from the top menu per suggestion from Kevin at Hennepin County. :-)

 

+++ SQR 3472 - County/City/State - County tab, Parcels subtab, added 2 new fields CER and CPI ("Crop Equivalency Rating" and "Crop Productivity Index")

                both fields accept a number format up to 5 with 2 decimal places.

 

+++ SQR 3475 - changed all references of www.taxes.state.mn.us to www.revenue.state.mn.us (MN Revenue's new domain name effective 5/1/2012)

               

+++ added logic for eCRV to auto-magically reconnect to the back end Microsoft DQL Server database, if the database goes down/restarts.

 

+++ SQR 3581 - changed references of 'Sale Adjustment' to 'Sales Adjustment', also changed 'Sale Property Attributes' to 'Property Attributes'.

 

+++ SQR 3593 - County/City - Fixed location of buttons <save> and <save with county final validation>. The buttons are now in a button bar to hold the location better.

 

+++ SQR 3594 - When the PDF generated, and was viewed in Internet Explorer - there was "Errors on Page" displayed in the lower left corner. - Fixed Javascript!

 

+++ fixed all found references of "CRV" to eCRV" (column headers, text, etc...)

 

+++ fixed various typos where found.

 

+++ General overall speed improvements everywhere!
